Part Time SEO Copywriter

Remote within the U.S. | Approximately 20 Hours per Week | 4-Month Contract

Oxford Solutions is seeking a junior-level SEO & GEO Copywriter to support a retail client’s sports and recreation content program. This is a part-time remote opportunity for a strong writer interested in search optimization, AI-driven content discovery, and consumer-focused digital content.

The Copywriter will create clear, authoritative, and engaging blog content designed to improve organic visibility and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit sports, outdoor, and recreation-focused blog content
• Create content optimized for traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery tools
• Apply SEO, Generative Engine Optimization, user intent, and content strategy principles
• Research products, topics, and customer questions to develop useful, credible content
• Collaborate with SEO professionals, product specialists, brand teams, and subject matter experts
• Ensure content is accurate, engaging, on-brand, and structured to support visibility and conversion
• Revise content based on editorial, SEO, and stakeholder feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-2 years of professional writing, copywriting, or digital content experience; Experience writing retail, sports, recreation, outdoor, or product-focused content is a plus
• Strong writing, editing, research, and proofreading skills
• Foundational understanding of SEO, keyword strategy, and search intent
• Interest in Generative Engine Optimization and AI-driven search experiences
• Ability to translate product or technical information into accessible consumer content
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Adobe Experience Manager experience is preferred
