Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated finance business partner to join the Global Enterprise Account Finance team within Sales Finance. You will support the assigned sales teams with planning, forecasting, business expansion and enterprise deals (including deal analysis, deal structuring and review). You will have frequent interactions and collaborate with the local sales teams, deal teams and finance teams and ensure informed decisions through strong, effective analysis and important business insights. You will also guide cross-functional initiatives and support our business programs and promotions.

You will report into the Finance Director, Global Enterprise Accounts EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and advise our business leaders on business and financial decisions
  • Help manage the planning, budget and forecast cycles for our Sales organization and setting targets that increase performance, monitoring financial results following strategic business initiatives.
  • Support sales and their pipeline management through Salesforce.com
  • Manage deals from forecasting, to deal structuring and review (revenue recognition and risk management) to the Deal Review Board and to booking and reporting.
  • Manage the deal discount approval process and analyze results
  • Create ad-hoc financial analyses and models to inform and support recommendations and business cases.
  • Help set sales compensation plans and quota setting. Partner with the Global Commission Office to ensure accurate administration and payments of commissions and ensuring accurate accruals are in place on a quarterly basis.
  • Establish relationship with the Financial Analyst organization to ensure support from that team is efficient, effective and timely
  • Establish relationships with other groups such as Sales Ops deal desk, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales Teams
  • Strengthen internal controls with emphasis on the training and communication of revenue recognition policies and government engagement policy.
  • Promote efficient, standardized systems and processes, use worldwide best practices.
  • Be a fiduciary in the best interest of the company, free of conflicts of interest and with objectivity, integrity, and truthfulness.
  • Lead or sponsor cross industry or cross geography projects within Finance especially projects related to streamlining processes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Fluent in English
  • 7+ years finance business partnering experience, multinational software industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be highly motivated and able to work within specific deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high quality standards in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of the finance functional areas, including revenue accounting, tax, and compliance.
  • Excellent business judgment and financial aptitude.
  • Experience with composition and review of budgets and forecasts
  • Experience with forecasting and financial analysis
  • Must have Excel skills, with regard to financial modeling
  • Strong experience with, general ledger and financial budgeting/forecasting software (i.e. Anaplan); ); AI and/or Power BI/Sigma/Snowflake knowledge is a plus
  • Flexible, self-directed and able to work in a "hands on" environment.
