We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Group Finance & Strategy Associate Manager to join a dynamic international holding company. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Strategy based in our Portugal office you will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making across a diverse portfolio of businesses and investments.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 3–5 years of experience who is looking to combine financial analysis, corporate strategy, business performance management, and complex group structure oversight within a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and capital allocation initiatives.
  • Analyse and monitor the performance of multiple subsidiaries and business units across the group.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning processes at a consolidated group level.
  • Evaluate growth opportunities, acquisitions, divestments, and corporate restructuring initiatives.
  • Prepare Board, Executive Committee, and shareholder presentations, delivering clear insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with senior management to identify value creation opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Support reviews of legal entity structures, intercompany financing arrangements, and group capital structures.
  • Perform scenario analysis and strategic assessments to support key business decisions.
  • Assist with fund raising, debt financing, and treasury-related strategic initiatives when required.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Corporate Finance or Corporate Development area with strong FP&A background.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills - especially with some APAC experience will put you at the front of the candidate queue.
  • Solid understanding of consolidated financial statements
  • Experience analysing multi-entity or international group structures is highly desirable.
  • Experience of working highly regulated industries a distinct advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluent English required
