GP Strategies Government Solutions, Inc. (“GP Gov”) is seeking a temporary Jr. Attorney/Sr. Paralegal to provide approximately three months of coverage within the Legal, Risk, & Contracts (LRC) function. This role supports a broad range of legal, contractual, operational, and administrative activities, serving as a key resource for internal stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, responding to changing business needs and working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires experience with government contracts and experience/familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Serve as administrator for the Legal, Risk, and Contracts Jira Service Desk, including:
o Monitoring and triaging incoming requests;
o Assigning tickets and managing workflow;
o Tracking ticket status and following up with stakeholders; and
o Assisting with system administration and user support activities.
• Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including:
o Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
o Teaming Agreements
o Supplier and customer terms and conditions
o Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements
• Provide support on employment and human resource matters, including:
o Responding to routine HR related inquiries
o Assisting with policy interruption and employment documentation
o Coordinating with internal stakeholders on personnel related matters
• Support supplier onboarding activities, including serving as a backup reviewer when primary personnel are unavailable
• Participate in internal and external meetings, document action items, and coordinate follow up activities
• Conduct legal and business research and prepare summaries, recommendations, and supporting documentation for management
• Assist with routine, legal administrative functions including but not limited to: records management, compliance tracking, and maintenance of legal repositories
Other requirements:
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned
• Assist with project improvement efforts, documentation updates, and operational support activities
• Perform a variety of legal, compliance, administrative duties that may vary based on business needs
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, or equivalent legal/contracts experience required
• Experience working in a law firm, corporate in-house legal department, or federal contracts department
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial and government contracts
• Familiarity/experience with FAR/DFARS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications and tools
• Experience with ticketing, workflow, or contract management systems preferred
