  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across service lines including power systems automation, substation design, grid compliance studies, and renewable project development.
  • Engage with Tier-1 organizations, network operators, developers, investors, and principal contractors.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, PQQs, and proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.

Job description

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Power & Electrical)
Location: Hybrid / Remote - UK
Salary: Negotiable

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK in Electrical, Power and energy infrastructure sector.
  • Identify opportunities across renewable energy, Solar Installations, electrical infrastructure & power distribution, EV charging, High Voltage & Low Voltage works and utility projects.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across service lines including power systems automation, substation design, grid compliance studies, and renewable project development
  • Engage with Tier-1 organizations, network operators, developers, investors, and principal contractors.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients while forging new partnerships to drive recurring revenue
  • Lead the preparation and submission of bids, tenders, PQQs, and proposals in collaboration with engineering and commercial teams.
  • Monitor procurement portals, frameworks, and market activity to identify upcoming opportunities.
  • Manage the end-to-end tender process, including bid scheduling, compliance tracking, and document production.
  • Track UK regulatory developments and industry trends to proactively position services.
  • Provide strategic feedback to senior leadership on market gaps, client needs, and service expansion opportunities.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, forecasts, wins/losses, and market intelligence.
