Job description

Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Mainframe Developer for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members on major projects to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and are incompliance with the organization’s architectural standards.
  • Provide support in the full systems life cycle that may span a broad range of applications to ensure application software is delivered on time and within budget.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years of application programming and analysis experience required.
  • Broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards required.
  • Experience designing, developing and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies required.
  • Project management and experience leading projects preferred.
  • JCL, COBOL, DB2 and IMS DB/DC.
  • Understanding of healthcare payor functions.
  • Problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
