Job description

About us

Suger helps revenue teams sell more effectively by simplifying the workflows required to buy and sell through cloud marketplaces. We make it easier for our customers to transact, manage, and grow deals across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba, Oracle and Snowflake, creating a smoother buying experience for their customers. We’ve grown quickly by becoming the end-to-end orchestration system for the fastest growing sales channel (B2B Cloud Marketplaces) leveraging AI and integrations with core systems.

Today, we’re working ~300 amazing customers, ranging from enterprises like Snowflake, Workday, Intel to the top AI-native companies like the main AI labs, Decagon, Glean, etc.

Role Overview

We're hiring a QA Engineer based in the Philippines to join our growing Engineering team. You'll own quality across our platform - a system that integrates deeply with AWS, GCP, and Azure Marketplace APIs as well as core systems like Salesforce and HubSpot - and help us ship fast without breaking things for ~300 customers who depend on us to get their deals paid.

This is a hands-on role spanning manual and automated testing. You'll build test plans against new features, write and maintain automated test suites, chase down and document bugs with enough detail that engineering can act on them immediately, and be a gatekeeper for release quality across web app and API surfaces.

This role requires working within the Vancouver (Pacific Time) timezone to closely collaborate with the Engineering team.

    • Perform manual exploratory testing across web application and API surfaces
    • Validate integrations with cloud marketplace APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure Marketplace) and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)

      • Build and maintain automated test suites for critical user flows and API endpoints
      • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to catch regressions before release
      • Continuously expand automated coverage as the product surface grows
      • Bug Management & Quality Gatekeeping
        • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs with clear repro steps, logs, and screenshots
        • Triage issues with Engineering and Product, and verify fixes before closure
        • Own release sign-off - confirm build quality before features ship to customers
        • Track quality metrics (bug counts, escape rate, test coverage) and flag trends
        • Cross-functional Collaboration
          • Partner with Engineering during sprint planning to flag testability and edge-case risks early
          • Work with Product Support and Customer Success to reproduce and validate customer-reported issues
          • Contribute to internal QA documentation, test playbooks, and best practices
