Collins Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials, ensuring timely and efficient purchasing activities that support operational requirements and Supply Chain objectives.β€― 

The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations while helping drive innovation and excellence in aerospace procurement.β€― 

What You Will Do: 

  • Define and execute negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies. 
  • Implement and drive Supply Chain strategies and sourcing initiatives to meet company goals. 
  • Set sourcing goals and ensure suppliers meet acceptable service levels and performance standards. 
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other partners. 
  • Conduct financial analysis by evaluating price proposals, financial reports, and relevant data to ensure competitive pricing. 
  • Evaluate suppliers' capabilities, quality, reliability, and competitiveness to ensure alignment with company standards. 
  • Research and identify potential suppliers to meet company requirements for price, quality, timing, and reliability. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including: Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with supplier management including pricing, scheduling, definition of terms & conditions, price analysis and source selection 
  • Advanced English proficiency. 

 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English. 
  • Familiarity with contractual terms and conditions, with experience drafting and reviewing supplier agreements. 
  • Skilled at engaging senior management, cross-functional teams, and program leaders on key business matters.
