Know the QA Team

The QA team works on a dynamic project ecosystem with all sorts of technologies, frameworks, and duration. We interact daily with product managers, designers, and engineers, architecting solutions with our customers’ team. Our culture brings fellowship as one of the values so yes, we're always counting on the support of 25+ QAs in our unique environment: one person's problem is the whole team's problem. Our current biggest technical challenge is to implement automation across multiple projects and create go-to solutions that solve most issues in different contexts and processes. And we not only have weekly meetings to discuss cross-project solutions but it's part of our company DNA to help each other at every opportunity.

Role Expectations

  • Apply your QA process knowledge to create comprehensive test cases, identifying and covering all relevant business rules within user stories. Write and execute manual and automated test scenarios, encompassing both positive and negative flows.
  • Conduct accessibility testing to ensure our products meet WCAG guidelines and are usable by individuals with disabilities. This includes evaluating for screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and sufficient color contrast.
  • Design and execute performance tests to assess application responsiveness, stability, and scalability under various load conditions. Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Perform backend testing, including API testing and database validation, to ensure data integrity, security, and proper functionality of server-side components.
  • Support the development team by proactively identifying potential scenarios, edge cases, and technical requirements that may impact product quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of quality.
  • Leverage your BDD skills to create Gherkin test cases and implement robust test automation using Page Object Model (POM) design patterns with frameworks like Appium, Selenium, Cypress, or other preferred tools. Contribute to the development and maintenance of our automated test suite.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies that proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to project quality. Utilize appropriate testing methodologies and tools to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, suggesting innovative solutions and advocating for quality best practices. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends and technologies.
  • Leverage generative AI tools and LLMs (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate test case generation, draft automated test scripts, and synthesize complex test data.
  • Validate LLM inputs/outputs (prompt engineering testing), identify hallucinations, and test for bias, toxicity, and edge cases in AI responses”
  • Explores potential benefits and opportunities to improve the process using AI
  • Ensure the responsible and ethical use of AI tools, maintaining transparency, accuracy, and human oversight in quality processes
  • Use your advanced English skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders both within and outside of ArcTouch. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.
