Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

About the Role

The Housing Partnerships Specialist is responsible for developing and managing relationships with third-party landlords, accommodation providers, managing agents and partner organisations that provide supported housing on behalf of Waythrough. The role focuses on ensuring properties are safe, compliant and well-maintained while working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality housing services.

Key Duties

The successful candidate will:

  • Act as the main point of contact for landlords, managing agents and accommodation providers.
  • Develop and maintain strong housing partnerships.
  • Monitor property compliance and ensure accommodation meets legislative and organisational standards.
  • Carry out property inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
  • Identify, escalate and resolve property or partnership performance issues.
  • Monitor void properties, rental costs and service level agreements.
  • Produce reports for senior management and support regulatory inspections.
  • Work closely with operational teams, Health & Safety, Property Services and contractors to ensure safe and effective service delivery.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working within the housing, property or social housing sector.
  • Can build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders including landlords, housing providers and local authorities.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and management information systems.
  • Ideally has knowledge of housing legislation, compliance requirements and supported housing, although some of these areas are desirable rather than essential.

Location & Travel

  • This is a home-based role, with the option of hybrid working if the successful candidate lives close to one of Waythrough's office bases.
  • It is a national role, so regular travel to services and properties across the country is expected.
  • There may also be occasional overnight stays when supporting services across multiple locations.
