Accountant

Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to contribute to the company's financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the continued growth of the business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting budgeting and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.

• Support the wider Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or currently in the final stages of qualification.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience within the cryptocurrency industry will be considered an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
