Job description

Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. 

The team is seeking an Integration Engineer to support a large-scale federal Salesforce Center of Innovation environment. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and documenting secure integrations across a complex Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce org-to-org, Salesforce org-to-Git repository, Salesforce app-to-app, third-party, service account, API, and middleware-enabled integrations. 

The environment includes 50+ Salesforce applications across multiple organizations and supports numerous application teams across Integration, Stage, and Production environments. The role will support a high-volume Salesforce release and operations environment, including API connection management, production change support, incident response, sandbox coordination, and integration modernization efforts. 

  

Job Location:  Remote work is authorized.  Must support US Eastern time zone working hours.

What you will be doing:  

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate Salesforce applications, workflows, integrations, reports, dashboards, and user experience.

  • Perform functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and release testing while supporting deployments, enhancements, and production issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully tested and meet business needs.

  • Identify, track, and validate defect resolutions; support data quality, system integrations, reporting accuracy, and user acceptance testing activities.

  • Maintain QA documentation, quality metrics, compliance testing, and continuous improvement efforts while participating in Agile ceremonies and release readiness activities.

Required Skills:  

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements. 

  • Candidate must have a current Public Trust clearance/suitability determination or an active DoD Secret clearance. 

  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S. 

  • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years. 

  • 4+ years of hands-on systems integration experience supporting enterprise applications. 

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Salesforce integrations, Salesforce APIs, Connected Apps, service accounts, authentication, or Salesforce platform administration/development. 

Desired Skills:  

  • 2+ years' experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, OAuth, SAML, certificates, API security, integration monitoring, and error handling. 

  • 2+ year experience supporting production systems, incident response, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting in a mission or enterprise environment. 

  • Experience supporting large Salesforce programs in federal, public sector, or regulated environments. 

  • Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, or large multi-org Salesforce ecosystems. 

  • MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience, including Anypoint Studio, Runtime Manager, API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, and DataWeave. 

  • MuleSoft Developer certification or Salesforce integration-focused certifications. 

  • Experience with Salesforce CLI, VS Code Salesforce Extensions, Salesforce Developer Console, GitLab, GitHub, GitHub Actions, scratch orgs, and DevSecOps pipeline toolsets. 

  • Experience with Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, External Services, Named Credentials, External Credentials, Data Loader, SFTP, ETL tools, or middleware platforms. 

  • Experience managing API inventories, service account inventories, connected app governance, certificate rotations, and integration runbooks. 

  • Experience supporting release management portals, helpdesk/ticketing platforms, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, and operational support tools. 

  • Experience supporting high-volume release environments, including major releases, minor releases, production changes, hotfixes, and technical design reviews. 

  • Experience supporting incident-heavy environments, including Tier 2/Tier 3 support and RCA responsibilities. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain integration risks and dependencies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$67,355.00 - $114,503.00
