Location: 100% Remote

This role develops and executes product strategy, positioning, and launch of products and solutions that support the company’s overall business strategy and goals. The position requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive positioning to drive successful product outcomes.

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Develops, owns, and executes end‑to‑end product strategy, positioning, and go‑to‑market plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of customer needs, competitive landscape, and market forces, including the company’s position relative to competitors.
  • Analyzes market opportunities, anticipates industry trends, and evaluates feasibility and financial justification for new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Defines, documents, and prioritizes requirements for current and future products considering business capabilities, technology constraints, quality, cost, customer interactions, and marketplace demands.
  • Oversees the product lifecycle from concept through delivery, ongoing optimization, and retirement.
  • Partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including technical architecture, engineering, development, analytics, operations, and commercial teams—to ensure solutions meet financial, timing, and customer expectations.
  • Defines target customer segments and supports sales teams through product expertise, lead generation support, and solution positioning.
  • Leads medium to large initiatives or complex, high‑visibility product efforts requiring broad business perspective, conceptual thinking, and in‑depth analytical problem solving.
  • Performs root cause analysis on product, claims, or operational issues and drives resolution through data‑driven recommendations.
  • Designs and documents business and operational workflows that support scalable and compliant product delivery.
  • Develops and maintains product policies, procedures, and best practices; recommends continuous process improvements.
  • Mentors and provides guidance to junior product managers, analysts, and cross‑functional partners.
  • May lead a process, program, or functional capability without direct people management responsibility.

Required Experience

Pharmacy & PBM Domain Expertise (Required):

  • Strong experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environments.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy point‑of‑sale (POS) and claims processing.
  • Understanding of drug management concepts, including formulary management, utilization management, and cost containment strategies.
  • Experience with authorizations and adjudication processes.

Claims & Data Expertise:

  • Hands‑on exposure to claims and regulatory data files, including PDEs, encounter data, and paid claims files.
  • Ability to analyze claims data to identify trends, issues, and financial impacts.

Financial & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong financial acumen, including ability to evaluate business cases, product ROI, and cost/benefit tradeoffs.
  • Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, including structured root cause analysis.

Product & Delivery Skills:

  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder validation.
  • Ability to write clear acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Experience participating in or leading claim testing and validation efforts.
  • Skilled in designing and documenting end‑to‑end business and operational workflows.

Agile & Tooling:

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Hands‑on experience using Jira (or comparable Agile tools) for backlog management, tracking, and delivery coordination.

Professional Attributes:

  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex concepts across technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable, able to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable influencing without authority and working across multiple stakeholder groups.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, or
  • High school diploma and 8+ years of related experience.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between 130000 USD to 140000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 130000 USD to 140000 USD.

 

 

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
