Job Description

Senior Product Manager - Blue Prism (SS&C Technologies)

Location: USA - Remote (Eastern Time Zone)

Team: Blue Prism Product

Reports to: Group Product Manager

About SS&C Technologies

SS&C Technologies (NASDAQ: SSNC) is one of the world's largest independent providers of software and services to the financial services and healthcare industries. With over 29,000 employees across 150+ offices in 40+ countries, SS&C serves more than 20,000 organizations globally - from the world's leading asset managers and insurers to hospitals, biotech firms, and government agencies. Our scale, resilience, and depth of domain expertise give our product teams a rare vantage point: the ability to build software that touches real operational workflows at some of the most complex enterprises in the world.

About SS&C Blue Prism

SS&C Blue Prism is a recognised leader in the intelligent automation space, trusted by many of the world's largest organisations to automate mission-critical work at scale.

Our flagship platform, SS&C Blue Prism WorkHQ, is the modern headquarters of work - a holistic enterprise automation platform that brings together humans, digital workers, AI agents, and enterprise systems into a cohesive automation fabric, orchestrating work through intelligent workflows. It's how enterprises design, deploy, govern, and continuously improve AI-powered work across their business -- and it's the product platform you'll help shape.

The intelligent automation market is being reshaped in real time by advances in generative AI and agentic frameworks. Blue Prism sits at the centre of that shift, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager who wants to help define what enterprise automation looks like next.

The Role

As a Senior Product Manager at SS&C Blue Prism, you'll own a product area that directly shapes how the world's largest enterprises adopt and scale intelligent automation. You'll operate in a highly dynamic, competitive market being reshaped by AI, set strategy in the face of market ambiguity, and partner across a large product organisation to ship products that customers love and that drive measurable revenue.

You'll be part of a sizeable, tightly aligned product management team -- which means your job is not just to run your own area well, but to make the whole portfolio better through the clarity of your thinking, the quality of your roadmap, and the discipline of your trade-offs.

What you'll do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for your product area, from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Work alongside a large product management team to ensure your area is fully aligned to the overall product portfolio strategy -- no orphaned roadmaps, no drift, no surprises.
  • Maintain a clear, well-organised roadmap that stakeholders across the business can understand and trust.
  • Make the tough trade-offs -- cutting scope, resequencing, saying no - and communicate the reasoning cleanly.
  • Ensure every release ties to a measurable customer or revenue outcome.
  • Develop deep customer and market understanding - talking to users, sitting with sales, watching automations run in production - and translate that into a sharp point of view on where to invest.
  • Take products zero-to-one: identify unmet needs, validate them fast, define the MVP, drive it to revenue, and iterate.
  • Write detailed, high-quality product requirements. Prototypes accelerate our thinking, but they don't replace the rigour of a well-defined spec.
  • Use AI daily - for research, synthesis, prototyping, and communication - to move faster and socialise complex ideas with clarity.
  • Partner with engineering, design, research, data, marketing, sales, support, and executive stakeholders to align on outcomes and unblock delivery.
  • Define and track the metrics that matter: adoption, revenue, retention, and customer impact.
  • Represent the product externally with customers, analysts, and partners.

What we're looking for

Required:

  • 3+ years of product management experience in B2B enterprise SaaS.
  • A track record of taking products from zero to one, with demonstrated revenue impact — not just launches.
  • Comfort operating in significant ambiguity and in fast-moving, competitive markets shaped by rapid technology change.
  • Fluency using AI as a day-to-day thinking, building, and communication partner — including using AI to prototype ideas and socialise complex concepts with stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for automation and business transformation.

Ideal:

  • Prior experience in the automation or AI/agentic product space.
  • A technical background (engineering, computer science, or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Deep understanding of modern agentic frameworks, LLM tooling, and how AI agents are built and evaluated in enterprise contexts.

Our culture

We're a highly collaborative, market-aware, and highly organised product management team, working with a large number of engineering, design, research, and go-to-market teams across many domains. We hold ourselves to a high bar on clarity, rigour, and follow-through - clear strategy, clear roadmaps, clear trade-offs, clear communication. We stay close to the market and to our customers, and we expect every PM to bring an informed point of view.

We look for people who take ownership of outcomes rather than tasks, and who lift the teams around them.

Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.

SS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and future. Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) plan with company match; paid time off, holidays, and parental leave; and professional development reimbursement opportunity.

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

SS&C Technologies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant for employment or employee on the basis of race, color, religious creed, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by applicable discrimination laws.
