Job description

 

Truehold, one of the nation's leading real estate investment platforms (200+ employees, 15+ markets), is rapidly expanding its mortgage division, Truehold Financial. We're looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support our growing team of Loan Officers by helping manage loan pipelines, coordinate with borrowers and Operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role primarily supports business purpose lending (DSCR, RTL/Fix-and-Flip, and Non-QM) while also assisting with consumer mortgage loans.

What You'll Do

  • Support Loan Officers throughout the loan lifecycle, from application through funding
  • Serve as a borrower contact, collecting documentation and providing timely updates
  • Prepare, deliver, and track required disclosures and redisclosures
  • Review loan files for completeness and identify missing or outstanding conditions
  • Deliver appraisals and property valuations to borrowers when required
  • Maintain accurate loan records within the LOS and CRM
  • Identify and escalate issues that could delay closing
  • Help improve borrower experience through responsive, proactive communication

Requirements

  • 2+ years of mortgage industry experience supporting Loan Officers, Processing, or Operations
  • NMLS licensed or have the ability to get licensed
  • Experience with business purpose lending (DSCR, Non-QM, investor, or bank statement loans) preferred
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage origination process and loan documentation
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Experience with mortgage technology platforms (LOS, CRM, and Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LendingPad and/or Salesforce
  • Experience coordinating with title, appraisal, and closing partners
  • Previous pipeline management or sales support experience
