What You'll Do

  • Assist with organized maintenance of the Sample House processing incoming and outgoing merchandise samples, including receiving, unpacking, assembling, and storing large furniture samples.
  • Load and unload trucks, verifying shipments against provided paperwork to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Pack and palletize outgoing merchandise for the Photo Studio and unpack returned samples while adapting to changing schedules and priorities.
  • Organize, plan, and execute assignments related to building fixtures for product reviews and visuals sets, adjusting task coordination as needed to accommodate last-minute changes.
  • Safely lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. and operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move merchandise between locations.
  • Lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 75 lbs. or more using approved team-lift and pivot methods.
  • Work at elevated heights using ladders up to 10ft. high while remaining responsive to changing tasks throughout the day.
  • Perform frequent physical activities including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing ladders to support various assignments.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to prepare for Bid and Sample Sales, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety standards and maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Perform additional ad hoc duties as required.

Onsite Work Location:

This position is based at our Alameda, CA Home Office and requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Experience & Skills You'll Bring

  • A can-do spirit with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a lean team environment, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities to support evolving business needs.
  • Ability to safely lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 75 lbs. or more using approved team-lift and pivot methods.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and support seamless operations and timely task completion.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach to identifying process improvement opportunities that optimize sample coordination and warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Warehouse and retail experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

CA Pay Range is $24 - 26 hourly.

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
