A leading North American tech startup that provides all-in-one transportation management software to K-12 school districts.

Job Description:

The Company is looking for a Content Associate to join our marketing team. In this role, you'll own the creation and distribution of content that drives awareness, engagement, and pipeline across our digital channels. From blog posts and LinkedIn campaigns to email newsletters and SEO strategy, you'll be the voice behind BusPlanner's story in the K–12 student transportation market.

What sets this role apart is how we work. Our marketing team actively uses AI tools, including Claude and Claude Code, to accelerate content workflows, build internal marketing applications, and scale output without sacrificing quality. You'll be expected to embrace these tools from day one and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.

This impactful position reports directly to our leadership team, which comprises seasoned SaaS executives with extensive experience scaling businesses across North America.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation & Strategy
    1. Write and publish SEO–optimized blog posts, long–form articles, case studies, and web copy that speaks to the challenges and priorities of K–12 transportation professionals.
    2. Translate customer stories, product updates, webinar takeaways, and event outcomes into engaging content across multiple formats.
    3. Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal priorities in student transportation.
  2. AI–Powered Content Workflows
    1. Use Claude and Claude Code as core tools in the content creation process, from ideation and drafting to editing and repurposing.
    2. Collaborate with the team to build and refine AI–powered marketing tools and templates that scale content production across channels.
    3. Develop effective prompts, workflows, and documentation so that AI–assisted content consistently meets the Company's brand voice and quality standards.
  3. Social Media & LinkedIn
    1. Manage and grow the company's presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube through consistent, on–brand posting.
    2. Manage the social content calendar, plan campaigns around key events and product milestones, and monitor engagement to inform future content.
    3. Repurpose long–form content (blogs, webinars, case studies) into social–ready formats, including carousels, short videos, and infographics.
  4. SEO & Web Content
    1. Apply SEO best practices to all web and blog content, including keyword research, internal linking, meta descriptions, and on–page optimization.
    2. Use Google Analytics and related tools to track content performance, identify trends, and recommend updates or experiments based on data.
    3. Audit and refresh existing website content to improve rankings and ensure accuracy as the product evolves.
  5. Email Campaigns & Newsletters
    1. Write compelling email copy for campaigns, newsletters, event invitations, and drip sequences that align with the Company's consultative, value–driven brand voice.
    2. Support email marketing execution in Mailchimp, including building campaigns, managing segmentation, and monitoring performance metrics.
  6. Cross–functional Collaboration
    1. Work closely with Rev Ops, Events, Customer Success, and Sales to align messaging and campaign goals.
    2. Coordinate with design resources to ensure all content is visually engaging and on brand.
    3. Maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels and touchpoints.


Requirements

  • An AI-native who uses Claude and Claude Code in their personal life or for work projects.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to craft content that engages and converts.
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of the content creation and editing process. Experience with Claude Code or prompt engineering is a strong plus.
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Mailchimp or a comparable email marketing platform.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) and coordination with creative teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly, proactive about upskilling, and thrives in a fast–paced environment.
  • Highly organized, deadline–driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and results–oriented mindset.

  • 1–3 years of experience in content marketing, digital communications, or a related role (B2B or SaaS experience preferred).

Work Mode: Remote - Full Time (9 hours)

Experience: 1-3 years

Days: Monday to Friday

Timing: 9 am-6 pm EST (6 pm-3 am PKT)
