POSITION SUMMARY:

Aprimo’s Customer Experience Application Consultant provides customers with our highest levels of system support and services so that customers can make best use of our platform. Our Customer Experience Application Consultant provides unmatched knowledge and assistance to help operate, administer, and manage our customer’s Aprimo platform. The role also helps to keep customers’ marketing systems fully functional and up-to-date with regular, proactive monitoring, health checks, and routine maintenance.

On a day-to-day basis, the Customer Experience Application Consultant will serve as a subject matter and product expert of the Aprimo software to provide an essential support service. Team members in this role collaborate directly with Implementation Leads, Project Leads and Customer Success Manager and are expected to exercise sound judgment within defined best practices while engaging with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Support post-implementation consulting by troubleshooting configuration-related issues and ensuring solutions function correctly before deployment
  • Configure and customize Aprimo solutions based on project requirements, and implement setup changes within Premier Success and Activation accounts
  • Serve as the internal Aprimo product expert — diagnosing platform issues, developing solutions, and lending product expertise to customer interactions when needed.
  • Support implementation and project leads in configuring the Aprimo solution, translating defined requirements into platform setups that drive ongoing value for the customer.
  • Assist in building and maintaining reports where needed; familiarity with reporting tools is a plus
  • Contribute to Aprimo Services practice development / Aprimo Global knowledge system
  • Attend team calls/product knowledge transfer sessions
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as required

    • Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience with a focus on software implementation, training, and support is required
    • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
    • Customer facing experience such as leading customer requirements and design sessions
    • Good understanding of database structures
    • Understanding of integration mechanisms
    • Able to do Quality Assurance testing
    • Any previous experience with automated marketing systems, marketing or training will be given additional consideration

    • Passing grade on an Aprimo Certification Exam within the first 30 days of employment and must be able to maintain 2 product certifications annually
    • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
    • Ability to communicate effectively and promptly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
  • Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
  • Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
  • Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels
  • Must be able to repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (i.e., repeated typing, etc.)
