Role: .Net/AWS Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
.NET Developer to join our application development team focused on building and enhancing cloud-native, event-driven applications. This role requires strong experience developing APIs and microservices using
.NET, deploying applications in
AWS, and building asynchronous messaging solutions utilizing
Amazon SQS and SNS. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, scalable code and enjoys working in an Agile environment alongside cross-functional teams.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Strong experience with Amazon SQS and SNS for event-driven messaging
- Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and messaging patterns
- Experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, or EKS
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (DynamoDB)
- Experience with automated testing (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using .NET/.NET Core
- Build and support event-driven architectures utilizing Amazon SQS and SNS
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices hosted in AWS
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
