Job description

Join Evernorth's Clinical Analytics team and help transform healthcare through data-driven insights. In this role, you will use analytics, statistical modeling, and business problem-solving to improve health outcomes, affordability, and customer experience across medical, behavioral, pharmacy, and clinical programs. We are looking for a curious, growth-oriented analyst who enjoys exploring complex data, uncovering meaningful insights, and partnering with stakeholders to drive better decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-quality analyses that answer critical business questions and support strategic initiatives across the Clinical Analytics organization.

  • Apply data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques to identify opportunities, explain trends, and inform future actions.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.

  • Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code, frameworks, and documentation that improve analytical consistency and scalability.

  • Validate data, methodologies, and outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and reproducibility.

  • Create clear reports, presentations, and visualizations that help technical and non-technical audiences understand key findings.

  • Contribute to study design activities, including cohort definitions, outcome measurement, and statistical summaries.

  • Expand team knowledge of available data assets and support continuous improvement of analytics capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of analytics experience.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one statistical programming language such as Python or R.

  • Experience working with large datasets and applying data quality assurance practices.

  • Ability to solve complex business problems using analytical thinking and sound statistical approaches.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain findings to technical and business audiences.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare analytics experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting health outcomes, affordability, operational, clinical, or population health initiatives.

  • Knowledge of relational data models and healthcare data structures.


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 68,000 - 113,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
