  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and Epic best practices.
  • Participate in on-call support as required.

Job Title: Epic Ambulatory Analyst

Position Summary
The Epic Ambulatory Analyst is responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic Ambulatory application. This role collaborates with clinical and operational stakeholders to analyze workflows, develop solutions, and support ongoing improvements to the Epic EHR system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain Epic Ambulatory application functionality.

  • Gather business and clinical requirements from physicians, nurses, and clinic staff.

  • Analyze current workflows and recommend system improvements.

  • Build and maintain:

    • Visit types

    • Department records

    • Provider templates

    • SmartForms

    • SmartSets

    • SmartPhrases

    • Preference lists

    • Clinical decision support tools

  • Perform system testing for upgrades, new functionality, and enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.

  • Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization projects, and new implementations.

Hourly range: $75-$85. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
