Backend Engineer (m/f/x)

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and related technologies, including ASP.NET CORE, .NET Core

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access code, ensuring minimal latency and optimal resource utilization

• Collaborate with other developers and project managers to gather requirements and create software designs

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

• Write automation test and CI/CD pipeline

• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on C#

• Proficiency in C# and related technologies, such as .NET Framework, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MySQL and Maria DB

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

• Strong proficiency in relational databases (RDBMS), specifically MySQL and MariaDB, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization

• Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Perfect English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Redis and Hangfire

• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance practices

For this position, the collective agreement (KV) for Advertising and Market Communication Vienna applies. The minimum gross annual salary according to the KV is €39,818.80 per year (full-time, based on full fulfilment of the role requirements). We offer a gross annual salary starting at €55,000, with a willingness to overpay depending on your qualifications and experience.
