Job description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 storefronts, custom modules, and platform customizations.
Build and extend REST and GraphQL APIs for headless architectures and third-party integrations.
Perform Magento upgrades, patch management, and performance optimization.
Develop backend services and microservices supporting e-commerce workflows.
Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern web technologies.
Write and optimize SQL queries, manage database migrations, and maintain data integrity.
Develop Python scripts and automation workflows for data processing and operational tasks.
Configure and maintain cron jobs, shell scripts, and deployment automation.
Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure testing coverage and CI/CD integration.

Requirements

3+ years of Magento 2 development experience, including custom module development.
Strong proficiency in PHP 7.4+/8.x and Magento framework architecture.
Solid experience with MySQL, including complex SQL queries and database optimization.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing.
Hands-on experience configuring and managing Linux cron jobs.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React, Vue.js, or a similar framework.
Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
Proficiency working in Linux command-line environments.

Nice to Have

Magento 2 Certified Developer certification, headless Magento experience, RabbitMQ, Redis, Varnish, AWS, Elasticsearch, Docker, Composer, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
