About the Company

We are an established international affiliate marketing business with more than 10 years of experience building and monetising SEO-driven websites across competitive online markets.

The company operates with a lean, remote-first structure and invests heavily in SEO, automation and scalable digital assets. We are looking for an SEO Domain Specialist to strengthen our domain acquisition capabilities and support the launch and growth of new SEO websites.

The Role

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and acquiring expired and auctioned domains that meet defined SEO, niche, GEO and budget criteria.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands expired domains, PBN infrastructure and domain auctions. You will manage the process from initial research and analysis through bidding, purchase and documentation.

A key part of the role will be improving how this work is done. You should be comfortable using parsers, APIs, scripts, AI tools or other automation solutions to reduce repetitive manual work and increase the volume of domains that can be assessed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for expired and auctioned domains based on agreed niche, GEO, quality and budget criteria.

  • Monitor domain auctions, marketplaces and registrar inventories.

  • Evaluate domains using backlink profiles, referring domains, anchor distribution, historical content, indexing history and spam signals.

  • Identify domains suitable for PBNs, rebuilds, redirects, mirrors and new SEO projects.

  • Bid on and purchase suitable domains within agreed budgets.

  • Build and improve automated processes for collecting, filtering, scoring and prioritising domains.

  • Maintain accurate records of evaluated, rejected and purchased domains.

  • Manage registrar accounts, renewals, transfers and related domain administration.

  • Collaborate with SEO and technical specialists to ensure acquired domains meet project requirements.

  • Continuously improve sourcing methods, evaluation criteria and acquisition workflows.

Requirements

  • Practical experience identifying and purchasing expired or auctioned domains.

  • Strong understanding of domain quality assessment, including:

    • referring domains and backlinks;

    • DR, UR, CF, TF or equivalent metrics;

    • anchor-text distribution;

    • historical website content;

    • spam, penalties and manipulation risks.

  • Experience using domain auction platforms and marketplaces such as GoDaddy Auctions, DropCatch, Sav, Namecheap, Afternic or similar.

  • Confident use of tools such as Ahrefs, Majestic, A-Parser, Netpeak Checker, Scrapebox or equivalent solutions.

  • Understanding of PBNs, redirects, domain rebuilds and expired-domain SEO strategies.

  • Ability to work independently, make quick decisions and manage multiple auctions and searches simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with large volumes of data.

Strong Advantages

  • Experience supporting SEO projects in iGaming, betting, finance or other highly competitive niches.

  • Experience automating domain research and evaluation using Python, APIs, ZennoPoster, AI tools or custom scripts.

  • Ability to work with databases and large parsed datasets.

  • Experience building domain-scoring models or automated shortlisting systems.

  • Knowledge of drop-catching services, auction patterns and bidding strategies.
