Job Description:

As a Sales Specialist Aftermarket - Victoria, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability through Castrol's Aftermarket channels (Workshops and Independent Retailers) across Victoria. You will develop and execute account strategies, manage key partner relationships, and ensure effective market penetration and customer satisfaction within your assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to achieve sales targets and improve revenue from Aftermarket partners.

  • Utilize commercial acumen to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Castrol's market share.

  • Conduct thorough customer and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Optimize customer profitability through effective pricing, product mix, and value proposition management.

  • Segment customers to tailor sales approaches and enhance impact across diverse indirect channels.

  • Provide customer training and support to ensure effective product knowledge and application among partners.

  • Foster strong internal alignment with marketing, supply chain, and other departments to support sales initiatives.

  • Monitor market trends and dynamics to adapt sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs for indirect channels.

  • Lead negotiations with partners, demonstrating strong negotiating value and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

  • Conduct thorough negotiation planning and preparation to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Cultivate and manage strong partner relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.

  • Develop accurate sales forecasting and demand planning to ensure product availability and efficient inventory management.

  • Analyze sector-specific trends and opportunities to customize sales approaches.

  • Effectively manage a designated sales territory, optimizing travel and resource allocation.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales within an indirect/Aftermarket channel environment, preferably in the automotive or industrial lubricants sector.

  • Demonstrated expertise in account strategy development and execution.

  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of profitability drivers.

  • Ability to conduct effective customer and competitor analysis.

  • Experience with customer segmentation and targeted sales approaches.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and demand planning.

  • Solid understanding of marketing strategies and program execution.

  • Experience in partner relationship management.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.

  • Strong internal alignment and collaboration skills.

  • Residing in or willing to relocate to Victoria.
