Job description

Forwood is looking to connect with a consultant experienced in Health & Safety and operational risk with a background in utilities and power generation/distribution, who may be interested in supporting future freelance consulting opportunities.


We are looking to build connections with specialists who may be able to provide targeted industry review and practical feedback on utilities and power generation/distribution related fatality prevention content.


This type of engagement would support our internal Critical Risk Management expertise by helping ensure selected content is practical, industry-relevant and applicable to utilities and power generation/distribution environments.


Areas of review may include:

  • Critical risks and controls
  • Field verification activities
  • Frontline practicality
  • Industry terminology
  • Operational tasks and scenarios
  • Role-level usability


We would be interested in connecting with professionals who have:

  • Direct utilities and power generation/distribution experience
  • Critical risk, fatality prevention or major hazard management exposure
  • Field verification, assurance or audit experience
  • Practical operational understanding
  • Ability to provide structured written feedback
