This is a 100% fully remote role within the United States.  Some travel to regional team meetings is required, however infrequent.

About the Opportunity 

We are seeking a Senior Director, Admissions Testing Programs to lead the strategy, growth, and evolution of E3n’s admissions assessment portfolio, including its ISEE, SSAT, test preparation offerings, and future blended admissions assessment.

This role is ideal for a product-oriented leader who combines strategic vision with execution discipline—someone who is energized by solving meaningful customer problems, aligning cross-functional teams around shared goals, and bringing complex solutions to market. Successful candidates are naturally curious, collaborative, and persistent, influential, with a strong ability to translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into a clear product direction.

The Senior Director will serve as the connective tissue between market insight, organizational
strategy, and product development ensuring that admissions offerings deliver meaningful value to schools and families while strengthening E3n’s long-term strategic position.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Director, Admissions Testing Programs will lead the vision, strategy, and performance of E3n’s admissions assessment portfolio. This role operates within the Product division and partners closely with Research & Innovation, Enterprise Data & Insight, and operational platform teams responsible for registration, application systems, and related infrastructure. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Portfolio Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Establish and maintain the strategic vision for the admissions portfolio, including current programs and the future blended admissions solution.
  • Define product roadmaps, investment priorities, and sequencing aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Evaluate competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends to ensure continued relevance and differentiation.
  • Serve as the primary strategic leader responsible for bringing next-generation admissions solutions to market.

Product Development & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Product  teams, Research & Innovation, Enterprise Data & Insight, technology, design, operations, and external partners.
  • Define product functionality, requirements, and business rules to guide development efforts.
  • Coordinate with platform and operations teams responsible for registration, administration, and related systems.
  • Remove barriers to execution by aligning stakeholders and resolving competing priorities.
  • Review and approve releases to ensure quality, alignment, and readiness.

Innovation & Future Admissions Models

  • Collaborate with Research & Innovation to develop next-generation admissions models, constructs, and blended assessment approaches.
  • Partner with Enterprise Data & Insight to explore predictive analytics, AI-enabled evaluation tools, and cross-lifecycle insights that enhance decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate cognitive, holistic, and contextual data into more comprehensive admissions insights.

Business Performance & Portfolio Management

  • Monitor adoption, customer satisfaction, and operational outcomes to guide continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Enterprise Data & Insight to analyze performance metrics and evaluate strategic investments.
  • Recommend resource allocation and strategic adjustments to maximize portfolio value.
  • Own the financial performance of the admissions portfolio, including margin contribution and investment effectiveness.

Enterprise Collaboration & Integration

  • Ensure admissions solutions integrate effectively with reporting platforms and broader E3n offerings.
  • Collaborate with membership, marketing, and professional learning teams to support positioning and adoption.
  • Partner with operational divisions to ensure smooth delivery and customer experience.
  • Contribute to enterprise product management practices and shared standards across the organization.
  • Increase integration and interoperability with other products and services

Near-Term Priorities

  • Lead the transition and ongoing management of existing ISEE and SSAT programs.
  • Drive the development and launch of a blended admissions assessment solution.
  • Establish the roadmap and long-term evolution of the admissions assessment portfolio.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of experience with at least 7+ years of experience managing products, programs, or portfolios.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Experience working within structured development methodologies such as Agile or similar frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze business metrics and translate insights into strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experiences

  • Experience in educational assessment, admissions testing, or edtech environments.
  • Knowledge of the independent school market or enrollment processes.
  • Experience managing complex product portfolios and high-stakes programs.
  • Experience with profit and loss responsibility or business performance management.
  • Advanced degree in education, business, social sciences, or a related field.
