Working under the direction of the Chief Information and Innovation Officer and the Product Manager, the SCADA Technical Writer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving technical documentation supporting Trimark's SCADA solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The SCADA Technical Writer works closely with SCADA engineers, software developers, project managers, and subject matter experts to create clear, accurate, and professional control narratives, HMI narratives, operating procedures, system descriptions, and customer-facing documentation that communicates complex system functionality and operational workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Requires professional experience creating technical documentation within industrial automation, SCADA, controls engineering, power systems, renewable energy, or other highly technical environments.
The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to understand and document complex technical systems. Experience working with industrial control systems, SCADA platforms, control narratives, HMI narratives, communications networks, and engineering documentation is highly desirable.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America. This position is not eligible for sponsorship of a work visa.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, power generation facilities, industrial communications protocols, and document control practices. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.

Compensation$90,000 - $115,000 per year
