We are currently looking for a Backend Integration Developer to join one of our U.S. clients in the logistics and eCommerce industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale integrations that support high-volume fulfillment operations and mission-critical business processes.

About the Role

As a Backend Integration Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain integrations between a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and multiple third-party platforms, including CRM systems, ERP solutions, shipping carriers, eCommerce platforms, and custom applications.

This is a hands-on backend development role where you'll collaborate with a distributed engineering team, taking ownership of the integrations you build while helping ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend integrations between a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and external platforms.
• Develop and maintain integrations with CRM systems, ERP platforms, carrier APIs, eCommerce platforms, and custom applications.
• Build RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization services.
• Develop data transformation and integration workflows.
• Implement and support EDI/B2B integration processes.
• Troubleshoot production integration issues and optimize system performance.
• Monitor data flows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to deliver integration projects.
• Recommend improvements to architecture, performance, and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• 3–7 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Strong experience with PHP or Python.
• Proven experience building third-party integrations and consuming external APIs.
• Solid understanding of:
  • RESTful APIs
  • Webhooks
  • Authentication methods (OAuth, API Keys, JWT)
  • Data mapping and transformation
• Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience integrating eCommerce platforms such as Shopify or similar.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with EDI standards and B2B integrations.
• Salesforce integration experience.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
