Job description

What you will be doing:

  • Develop the existing business & meet annual revenue growth targets
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Work jointly with delivery counterparts and ensure value is being delivered to the customer
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issuing escalations as needed
  • The role will report into the Head of Operations and will be required to work closely with Sales teams and move accounts from sales into account management

You are a good match if you have:

  • Experience in a customer facing account management role or have the aptitude to perform the role
  • Strong client relationship management experience particularly with senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of today’s digital, AI & software development landscape and must be able to bring value to the customer
  • Experience in understanding software development requirements and having the ability to develop, along with the help of pre-sales, winning IT proposals
  • Must have very strong listening and presentation skills
  • Experience working with & understanding of commercial contracts
  • Successful experience in RFP responses and successful sales pitches
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, technical engineers and architects to provide customers with solutions
  • Ability to travel to client site
  • Knowledge & experience of using a CRM
  • Be willing to learn new techniques and follow account management standards
  • Be able to leverage AI to help with account growth
