What you will be doing:
- Develop the existing business & meet annual revenue growth targets
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Work jointly with delivery counterparts and ensure value is being delivered to the customer
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issuing escalations as needed
- The role will report into the Head of Operations and will be required to work closely with Sales teams and move accounts from sales into account management
You are a good match if you have:
- Experience in a customer facing account management role or have the aptitude to perform the role
- Strong client relationship management experience particularly with senior stakeholders
- Good understanding of todayβs digital, AI & software development landscape and must be able to bring value to the customer
- Experience in understanding software development requirements and having the ability to develop, along with the help of pre-sales, winning IT proposals
- Must have very strong listening and presentation skills
- Experience working with & understanding of commercial contracts
- Successful experience in RFP responses and successful sales pitches
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, technical engineers and architects to provide customers with solutions
- Ability to travel to client site
- Knowledge & experience of using a CRM
- Be willing to learn new techniques and follow account management standards
- Be able to leverage AI to help with account growth
