Job Position Purpose/Summary

To manage the sales activities necessary to provide full service to customers on their territory and to achieve the set objectives. To provide day-to-day support to selected Strategic Account(s)/Buying groups for our SNS portfolio (Specialty Nutrition Systems incl MIC-Key & Cortrak).

 

Job Position Accountabilities/Expectations

  • To achieve the Sales revenue, Gross Profit and Product mix targets set for the territory.
  • To implement at Hospitals and selected Strategic Account(s) agreed promotional activities & support as agreed with the team.
  • To provide a day-to-day link between the Strategic Account(s)/ hospitals and Avanos for the effective flow of communication, training, business opportunities and Avanos products/services.
  • To communicate all competitor activity to the Sales & Marketing team.
  • To implement the Customer Development Process programme at all target sites and with selected Strategic Account(s)/Buying groups as agreed with the Team Leader.
  • Identify all possible profitable business opportunities for the Healthcare portfolio within the territory.
  • To document and update business opportunities, customer contact details, action plans and progress of related activities in SalesForce.com at regular intervals as agreed with line manager.
  • To promote product benefits, advantages & support to target sites in line with marketing directives.
  • Complete all administration, reports & requests within guidelines & on time.
  • Ensure effectiveness of journey plan on a regular basis to ensure maximum levels of service.
  • Maintain local promotional activity budget & samples budget spend.
  • Perform all necessary duties as directed by the Manager.
  • Quality: Supports the organization to ensure an adequate and effective quality management system, supports the quality policy and sustains a quality culture.

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skill Required

Required Qualifications:

  • Educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent vocational qualification. Nursing, Medical sales and a clinical background will be an advantage. Must be able to work alone & unsupervised for long periods of time.
  • Preferably a Senior Sales Representative (but not a must); demonstrable superior selling, negotiation, and presentational skills.

 

 

Compensation, Pay Range & Job Grading

 

This role is classified within the company’s structured job architecture and compensation framework, in

compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.

 

Job Grading:

The position is assigned to Grade 12 within the AVANOS job grading framework.

Job grades are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria.

The grading structure ensures internal equity and consistency across the organization.

 

Pay Range:

The annual base salary range for this role is between EUR 70.000,00 and EUR 86.000,00 gross per year.

 

Placement within this range is determined based on:

•           Relevant professional experience (education (clinical- medical)/ years of working/ Industry track-record)

•           Skills and competencies (languages / additional certifications / IT-skills)

•           Internal equity considerations (Gradings / PIR)

•           Market benchmarks (similar roles, other companies &/or industries)
