Job Description

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Strategic Development Manager will drive the strategy and expansion of PSI's clinical business operations in Malaysia and other Asia Pacific region. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies for expanding PSI clinical trial operations in the country and region, including site identification and evaluation.
  • Build and maintain a database of potential and active sites for PSI's critical therapeutic areas, developing outreach plans for strategic regions.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging therapeutic areas, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including site investigators, staff, and healthcare administrators.
  • Analyse patient enrollment challenges and opportunities, comparing feasibility assessments against actual performance to improve recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with PSI Operations to support feasibility and site identification processes.
  • Participate in scientific conferences and meetings to gather information, network with potential sites/investigators, and deepen understanding of the regional clinical trials landscape.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Life Science Degree, MD or PharmD is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of CRO/SMO or on-site experience
  • Experience in clinical site identification and networking is a plus
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Full working proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
