About the Role

Have you started your career in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, or Business Administration and later discovered that you enjoyed implementing financial systems more than running the processes themselves? Maybe you began as an Accountant, AP Analyst, Financial Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Business Consultant before transitioning into ERP or SaaS implementations.

If you understand financial operations because you've actually worked in them, and now enjoy helping customers transform those processes through technology, we'd love to meet you.

We are partnering with a global leader in cloud-based Spend Management and Accounts Payable Automation solutions trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide. As part of this strategic partnership, we're building a specialized Professional Services team that will guide international customers through the successful implementation of the AP Automation platform.

This is a customer-facing consulting role where you'll combine your finance knowledge, analytical thinking, and implementation experience to help organizations modernize the way they purchase, approve invoices, manage suppliers, and automate financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Functional Consultant, you'll become a trusted advisor for customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding customers' finance and procurement processes.
  • Leading discovery sessions to identify business requirements.
  • Translating business needs into system configuration.
  • Configuring the platform following implementation best practices.
  • Advising customers on process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training sessions, and Go-Live activities.
  • Helping customers successfully adopt the platform and maximize business value.
  • Explaining new product features and their impact on business processes.
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Product Specialists, and Customer Success teams.
  • Managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer experience.

What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

  • Professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Administration, or similar business functions.
  • Experience implementing ERP, Financial Systems, or SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase-to-Pay, Source-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, or Spend Management processes.
  • Experience working directly with customers during software implementations.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into functional system configurations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional-level English (customer-facing role).
