As part of the Global Compliance Operations team, you will work with a team of analysts responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance, production and development of eBay's AML Transaction Monitoring (TM) program.

Perform alert reviews in a timely and qualitive manner with AML Transaction Monitoring team. Performance and Quality metrics within a higher and desirable range are to be performed along with tasks to include but are not limited to: reviewing alerts and eBay user accounts within the AML TM Program; reviewing, testing and executing for new rule discovery; executing existing rule optimization. Work closely with AML TM QA teams and Team leads, Coaches and Managers to identify efficiencies that streamline process and procedures.

What You'll Do

o Execute TM procedures and review results for potentially unusual activity

o Balance extensive research, including with the performance of due diligence and transaction analysis

o Prepare work products that meet quality standards

o Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements in Sanctions, TM, Know Your Customer (KYC), and other compliance due diligence functions

o Assist in issue resolution and communication with guidance from leadership o Resolve AML referrals from external partners as directed

o Resolve eBay member account issues including reviewing appropriate documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met

o Collaborate with other team members and leadership to provide input on policies and procedures as well as other initiatives

o When appropriate, refer problem accounts or customers according to the policy and procedures in a timely manner to the team lead

What You Have

o A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in business, accounting, finance or a related degree or 1-2 years of AML experience or 2+ years of fraud/compliance experience

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Strong organizational skills

o Excellent computer skills, including a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications o Strong research and analytical skills, with an attention to detail

o An ability to work independently with direction from leadership and against deadlines

o The flexibility for an agile environment

o An attitude to be a phenomenal teammate

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$42,400 - $87,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
