About the Team and Role

As a Finance Manager 2 supporting the Facilities Team, you will be a thought-leader and strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insightful and relevant counsel, ensuring business decisions are appropriately based on accurate and reliable metrics and financial information. You will manage and oversee the development of financial budgets and forecasts and help drive cost awareness and efficiency. This role will report to the Finance Director of Corporate Functions.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Manage financial budgeting and forecasting as well as close and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Serve as a value-added business partner & challenger interacting and providing financial planning and decision support to business stakeholders.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for senior leadership to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business.
  • Standardize and drive consistency in financial planning processes and strive for continuous improvement, identify, and execute on opportunities to reduce non-value-added work.
  • Partner with eBay’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
  • Assist in project-based initiatives to drive operating efficiencies across functions.

What You Will Bring:

  • Dedicated to working our Hybrid Model with 3+ days per week onsite at our Austin, TX office.
  • Candidates for this position will have 7+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis and management experience.
  • Experienced finance professional with FP&A expertise, and progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with business leaders.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing partners across the organization.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP and Anaplan or equivalent.
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment.
  • Strong financial modelling capability, highly proficient in Excel, and financial planning systems.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize and articulate the highest impact initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills to communicate with senior executives and internal business partners.
  • Previous experience working with a Facilities team is a plus.

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$130,000 - $150,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
