The role
 

We are looking for an IT Security Architect to strengthen security governance across our IT landscape. In this role, you act as the central point of expertise for IT security, ensuring that security principles, requirements, and controls are consistently applied across systems, platforms, and projects.

You operate at the intersection of IT and the Security Office, translating security requirements into practical solutions, managing security-related risks, and providing guidance and approvals from a security perspective.

How you’ll make impact

  • You establish and drive security governance across IT, ensuring consistent application of security principles in projects and operations.

  • You act as a trusted advisor and challenger, reviewing architectures and solutions from a security perspective.

  • You manage and assess IT security risks, ensuring transparency, proper mitigation, and alignment with organizational standards.

  • You provide security approvals and exceptions for non-standard solutions, balancing risk and business needs.

  • You serve as the primary interface between the Security Office and IT, translating requirements into actionable measures.

  • You take ownership of IT security policies, ensuring they are defined, maintained, and implemented effectively.

  • You lead and coordinate IT-related audits (e.g., ISO 27001), including preparation, execution, and follow-up activities.

  • You ensure that security-by-design principles are embedded in projects and changes across IT.


What’s important to us

  • You bring solid experience in IT security, ideally in a role combining architecture, engineering, or governance.

  • You have a broad understanding of IT environments, including IT infrastructure, identity & access management, and applications.

  • You are familiar with security principles and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, general best practices), experience with security governance, risk management, and compliance concepts

  • Broad knowledge across infrastructure, networking, IAM, and application environments, ability to review and assess architectures and technical designs from a security perspective

  • You are comfortable assessing IT risks and making pragmatic decisions

  • You can challenge technical solutions constructively and engage with stakeholders across IT and the Business.

  • You are able to translate security requirements into practical, implementable measures.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus but not required
