The Data, Analytics & AI Division is in charge to transform BCR in a data driven organization being responsible for end to end delivery of AI, BI & Advanced analytics solutions, data governance and quality. We combine business and technical knowledge at the same time, and we coordinate and define data strategy for the entire organization.
How you will contribute
- Propose reporting and data discovery solutions for business lines, having a proactive conduct or having as start point the main request and ensuring that the final development fulfills it and maximize data utility for the beneficiaries;
- Transform large data sets into actionable insights through Power BI and Databricks using best practices regarding the development of specific BI applications, being aware of principles regarding data visualization, data protection and data governance;
- Collaborate closely with business experts to develop and test BI applications, as well as define performance metrics;
- Collaborate with colleagues responsible for IT infrastructure and offer support in various activities related to BI platform;
- Advocate for the value of data across the organization, promoting a data-driven culture.
What will help you be successful
- Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, or a similar discipline;
- More than 2 years of experience in a BI/reporting role within a commercial environment, with a strong preference for experience in finance or banking;
- Advanced experience in Power BI, data modeling and SQL (data processing);
- Understand the big data ecosystem and its major components;
- Knowledge in Azure platform and Databricks would be a plus;
- Very good collaboration, communication and negotiation skills.
