Job description

LOCATION: Remote – this is a home-based, virtual position that operates Monday – Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm EST. This person must live in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border.


 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

The ROOTS Hub Performance Reporting Analyst reports to the ROOTS Hub Director and provides reporting and data support for NC DHHS’ define region 3 comprised of Alexander, Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanley and Union counties. The position will support ROOTS Hub Lead operations with the production of all required reports and the analysis, tracking and trending of program-related data.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Compile, submit, and aggregate program-related reports to the Department by required deadlines
  • Support the Hub Director in ensuring subrecipients, implementation partners, and community-based organizations meet reporting expectations
  • Gather, develop, review, analyze and monitor performance measures and results required by NC DHHS to ensure compliance and comprehension and to identify potential improvement opportunities.
  • Present results, findings, interpretations, and recommendations regarding performance measures to both internal and external stakeholders 


Other duties as assigned.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Strong project management and administration background with the ability to work with organization leadership and stakeholders to present data and results
  • Ability to develop organizational performance reports according to standard templates
  • Ability to analyze data to identify root causes and develop an approach for responding
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and projects
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direction, demonstrate initiative, be goal-oriented, and function as a self-starter
  • Ability to solve problems and provide practical, thorough and creative solutions to work tasks



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Human services, finance, business administration, computer science or related fields is required. 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing the input and output of data in large databases for enterprise-level organizations, preferably organizations connected to behavioral or physical health.


Preferred work experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with Medicaid/Medicare, population health, behavioral health, I/DD and/or TBI data preferred



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparation and analysis of documents; viewing a computer terminal; and extensive reading. 
  • Physical activity in this position includes crouching, reaching, walking, talking, hearing and repetitive motion of hands, wrists and fingers. 
  • Sedentary work with lifting requirements up to 10 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time. 
  • Mental concentration is required in all aspects of work. 



RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS: The person in this position is required to reside in North Carolina or within 40 miles of the NC border.
 

SALARY: Depending on qualifications & experience of candidate. This position is exempt and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
