We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join an innovative Clinical IT initiative focused on building AI-powered agent solutions that optimize healthcare workflows and improve operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys solving challenging technical problems, shaping architecture decisions, and contributing to the development of next-generation AI-enabled products.

This is you

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend software development.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Extensive experience with Node.js and backend frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, security principles, and performance optimization.

• Experience with automated testing, monitoring, and observability tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience building AI-powered platforms or intelligent agent solutions.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Experience working in healthcare, Clinical IT, or other highly regulated industries.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging systems.

• Experience integrating third-party APIs and cloud-native services.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and modern DevOps practices.

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

• Architect and implement secure, reliable, and high-performance backend solutions.

• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements.

• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data flows.

• Ensure system scalability, performance, reliability, and security.

• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and technical issues.

• Contribute to system architecture decisions and long-term technical roadmaps.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and support their technical growth.

• Continuously improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and operational efficiency.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and engineering guidelines.
