Job description

, a full-service advertising agency, is looking for a 3D Experiential Design Manager to join our Kia team on a short-term, freelance basis! We don't just look for fresh talent; we look for fresh thinkers.

We’re looking for a bold, ideas-driven designer to help shape unforgettable brand experiences across Kia’s top-tier sports partnerships and live events. From concept to execution, this role plays a key part in bringing high-impact activations to life—blending creative vision, collaboration, and craftsmanship to deliver work that stands out on the biggest stages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  
•    Creative lead responsible for the ideation and development of activation concepts for Kia NBA partnerships, NBA tentpole events, Kia Forum, New Years Eve, Kia Center, FIFA World Cup, and all other ancillary Kia activations.  
•    Collaborate with Kia to understand project needs and plan out approach to on-site activations. 
•    Collaborate with Kia's agency partners to ensure activation elements are consistent with Kia brand idea, voice, style and tone 
•    Working with brand assets to put together comps, decks, and low funnel design projects to ensure a consistent look and feel with brand guidelines and agency assets. 
•    Maintenance of reference materials for pitch decks to present general ideas to Kia clients. 
•    Manage the development of select creative needs 
•    Provide Sports Marketing with 2D, and/or 3D environmental renders and creative for Kia approval and vendor’s usage. 
•    Design signage and materials to use for each activation and its accompanying channels. 

REQUIREMENTS 
•    Minimum of 5-8 years of agency experience as a graphic designer or art director 
•    Demonstrated creative and critical thinking with the ability to build programs from concept through to execution  
•    Experience/ knowledge in NBA/WNBA is preferred 
•    Experience around arena display/activation is preferred 
•    Experience with on-site event marketing for the automotive industry is a plus but not required.  
•    Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups 
•    Strong time management skills. Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with limited resources.  
•    Proficient in preparing presentations (e.g. PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets). 
•    Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above 
 

Salary range: $140,000 to $149,000  
Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: years of experience, client, training, and transferable skills.
