Job Title - Communications Coordinator
Duration - 7 months
Location - US remote
Interview - 2 rounds

Role Overview
Ensures that employees have the information they need to thrive at work every day. This role supports the communication of big picture company strategy, detailed updates from individual departments, and employee engagement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate internal (90%) and external (10%) communications across all Commercial Segment brands
• Partner with department leaders and executives to understand initiatives, issues, and announcements, then develop appropriate communications.
• Draft, edit, and publish employee communications including emails, memos, newsletters, campaigns, and intranet updates.
• Deliver regular newsletters that consolidate information into concise, easy-to-consume formats.
• Tailor communications to the needs and preferences of various audience groups across brands and business units.
• Maintain and update SharePoint intranet sites, including permissions, page content, navigation, document libraries, and news posts.
• Manage and maintain an organized internal communications calendar to ensure timely, sequenced delivery of messages.
• Intake requests from stakeholders, triage and prioritize work, and provide guidance on communication strategy and timing.
• Support the development of internal slide decks, talking points, and presentation content.
• Support logistics for virtual meetings and live events on Zoom and Microsoft Teams (e.g., run-of-show, chat management, recording, Q&A facilitation).
• Develop project plans and communication calendars for major organizational initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and alignment.
• Write executive memos and other leadership communications.
• Support client and candidate/contractor communications, including email notifications, updates, and service-related messaging.
• Draft press releases and coordinate with internal partners on approvals and distribution.

Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years in internal communications, corporate communications, or similar
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Experience supporting leadership and cross-functional teams
• Ability to simplify complex topics for internal audiences
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise, and audience-appropriate messaging.
• Excellent organization and project management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter; capable of learning, prioritizing, and executing with limited supervision
• Ability to break down complex or technical information into simple, easy-to-understand content.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort working with stakeholders across levels and functions.
• Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and software tools quickly.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools—especially SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
• Experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with project management software (Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Experience supporting virtual events or webinars.
• Basic understanding of communications analytics and measurement.
• Experience working in a multi-brand organization or a large, distributed workforce.
