Job description

Title: Power Platform Developer
Location: Remote, USA
Duration: 6 months with the possible extension

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support multiple enterprise application development initiatives within a Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires a highly motivated professional who can independently design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform while collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycleβ€”from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production support. Assignments will vary in complexity, ranging from simple business process automation and data collection applications to enterprise-grade solutions integrating Microsoft 365 with external business systems and databases.

This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables, meeting project deadlines, and providing regular progress updates throughout the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and other Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • Build scalable workflow automation solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop secure and maintainable Power Platform solutions that follow Microsoft best practices and governance standards.
  • Configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot SharePoint Online environments, including lists, libraries, permissions, content management, and site enhancements.
  • Support end users by resolving SharePoint Online issues and providing technical guidance when needed.
  • Design and implement integrations between Power Platform solutions and enterprise systems using SQL Server, SharePoint, XML, REST APIs, and other structured data sources.
  • Create reusable components, forms, workflows, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, user acceptance support, deployment, and production validation.
  • Produce technical documentation, solution architecture, support documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions and recommend technical solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, blockers, and completed work on a regular basis while managing multiple concurrent initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate
    • SharePoint Online
  • Experience developing business process automation and workflow solutions.
  • Strong SharePoint Online administration and support experience.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with:
    • SQL Server
    • REST APIs
    • XML
    • JSON
    • Microsoft 365 services
    • External enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture and governance.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting enterprise users.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Dataverse.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Azure Functions or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Experience using Microsoft Graph API.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Microsoft Power Platform Certifications are highly preferred.
