Senior Recruitment Consultant


Location: South Africa (Remote)


Working Hours: UK Business Hours (Monday–Friday)


Reporting To: Head of Recruitment



About Us


We are a rapidly growing international recruitment and Employer of Record (EOR) business supporting clients across the UK and the United States. We partner with businesses to deliver outstanding recruitment solutions while helping them build high-performing offshore teams. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our South African team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven recruiter who enjoys managing client relationships, delivering exceptional candidates and working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


The Role


This is a full 360 recruitment role focused on managing recruitment assignments from qualification through to placement while providing an exceptional service to both clients and candidates. You will work closely with our UK sales team, who will qualify new business and assign recruitment vacancies to you based on sector expertise and client requirements. Your focus will be delivering high-quality recruitment solutions, building long-term client relationships and consistently achieving placement targets.


Key Responsibilities


● Manage the recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to successful placement.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their trusted recruitment partner.
● Source, screen and interview high-quality candidates across a range of industries.
● Manage candidate attraction campaigns.
● Proactively headhunt passive candidates using LinkedIn and other sourcing tools.
● Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records within the bespoke company CRM.
● Provide consultative advice to clients on market conditions, salary benchmarking and hiring strategies.
● Prepare candidates thoroughly for interviews and manage the offer process.
● Negotiate offers and successfully close placements.
● Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
● Work collaboratively with the UK sales team to ensure clients receive a seamless service.
● Meet and exceed individual placement and revenue targets.

Requirements


Essential Experience


Applicants must have:


● A minimum of 2 years' recruitment experience (agency recruitment preferred).
● A proven track record of successful billings and consistent placements.
● Experience managing the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to offer acceptance.
● Strong experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and major job boards.
● Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
● Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
● Strong organisational and time management skills.
● The ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments simultaneously.
● Experience working remotely with minimal supervision.
● A stable internet connection and professional home office environment.


Desirable Experience


Whilst not essential, the following would be highly advantageous:


● Experience recruiting for UK-based businesses.
● Experience recruiting across multiple sectors.
● Previous experience within an outsourcing, offshore recruitment or Employer of Record (EOR) environment.
● Experience recruiting for US-based clients.
● Experience using modern recruitment CRM/ATS/AI systems.
● Experience managing high volumes of vacancies
