Recruitment Consultant (Remote – South Africa Based)

Supporting a UK Construction Recruitment Business

About the Opportunity

Join a growing UK-based construction recruitment business that is scaling rapidly across key sectors in the built environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a South African-based recruiter to work remotely with an established UK client, supporting high-volume recruitment delivery while developing into a future senior or management-level role.

The UK construction market continues to experience strong demand, creating outstanding long-term earning and progression opportunities for ambitious recruiters who want to build a career in an international market.

This role is focused on delivery and candidate management rather than business development. You will work closely with experienced UK consultants and directors, helping to source, qualify, and manage candidates across multiple live vacancies.

The business is looking for someone who is highly motivated, commercially aware, organised, and capable of building strong relationships with candidates and clients alike.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting recruitment delivery across the UK construction sector.

You will be responsible for identifying and engaging candidates, managing recruitment processes, maintaining candidate pipelines, and ensuring a high-quality experience throughout the hiring journey.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where communication, initiative, attention to detail, and relationship-building are critical to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support UK-based consultants and directors with recruitment delivery
  • Conduct market mapping and research to identify target candidates and companies
  • Source, headhunt, and engage candidates through calls, LinkedIn, job boards, and networking
  • Screen CVs and assess candidate suitability for live vacancies
  • Manage and maintain candidate pipelines across multiple roles
  • Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the recruitment process
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates within the UK construction market
  • Maintain accurate CRM and recruitment system records
  • Work toward agreed activity and performance targets
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure successful placements and client satisfaction
  • Deliver a professional and consultative candidate experience
