At Accenture Operations we provide business process services for specific functions, including finance and accounting; procurement and supply chain; and marketing & sales. We operate business processes with a combination of talent and data, artificial intelligence, analytics and digital technologies, helping clients to improve their productivity, customer experience and performance.

What will you do:

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the closing process, including preparation of accruals, prepaid releases, and posting of bank transactions
  • Review B/S and P/L statements to identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies
  • Prepare compliance documentation in line with client requirements and ensure SOX compliance within the team
  • Support financial statement audits as required

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

What we expect:

  • Fluent written and oral communication in English 
  • Very good knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese (min. B2)
  • Degree in accountancy or as equivalent accountancy course
  • Minimum 2 year of proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a rare hybrid mode (Warsaw)
  • MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential;
  • Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing
  • Ability to work analytically within a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Knowledge of SAP, GAAP's, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures
