Job description

This is a remote position.

We're growing our UK team and looking for a UK Digital Growth Manager to own our hotel partners' digital presence and performance in one of the most mature hotel markets in the world.

This isn't a traditional digital marketing role. You'll be Profitroom's local face for digital in the UK - driving new business, upselling existing clients, managing accounts, and bridging the gap between our digital teams and UK hoteliers. You'll be the single accountable owner of digital results across your client portfolio, and a credible industry voice that UK hotels want to have in the room.

The UK hospitality market is highly sophisticated. Hoteliers run complex digital strategies but often lack the internal expertise to execute them confidently. That's where you come in: combining deep digital knowledge with genuine understanding of what drives direct bookings for UK hotels. You'll help hotels grow direct revenue using Profitroom's unique combination of booking technology, website platform, CRM and digital marketing services.

The role

Real ownership, real impact — You won't be executing tasks for others. You'll own the entire digital relationship - from first commercial conversation to long-term account performance. When a hotel's direct revenue grows, that's on you.

A market ready to be won — Profitroom has best-in-class technology for driving direct bookings. The UK is a market we're building credibility in right now - which means you'll have the runway to make your mark, shape the offer, and create case studies others will follow.

Be the local expert — You'll be the UK's dedicated digital resource - embedded in the Sales and Customer Success teams, connected to our global Digital and Marketing functions, and visible in the industry. This is a career-defining role for someone who wants to be known in UK hospitality.

What you'll actually do

→ Months 0–12: Core focus

  • Commercial growth — Win new digital business by working closely with the UK Sales team to assess opportunities, prepare compelling pitches, and secure website and digital marketing contracts with both prospective and existing hotel partners.
  • Drive upsell within existing accounts — Identify digital growth opportunities across the existing UK client base and convert them into contracted digital engagements.
  • Own client performance — Serve as the primary point of contact for hotels signed up for Profitroom’s digital services, taking full accountability for performance, strategy, and client satisfaction across your portfolio.
  • Monitor active digital marketing campaigns — Oversee live paid media, SEO, and CRM activity across your client accounts, working with Profitroom’s in-house specialists to ensure delivery is on strategy and performing against agreed targets.
  • Bridge Digital, Sales, CS, and hotel partners — Act as the connective tissue between Profitroom’s internal digital teams and our UK commercial and client-facing functions, ensuring consistency and joined-up delivery.

→ From month 12: Expanding scope

As the role matures and your portfolio is established, you’ll take on broader strategic and market-facing responsibilities:

  • Define hotel digital strategies — Translate UK hotel requirements into clear digital marketing strategies across paid media (Google Hotel Ads, brand PPC, Meta, retargeting), SEO, GEO & local search, CRM and email, content and reputation management.
  • Conduct digital audits and deep dives — Identify underperforming accounts and lead structured digital reviews that uncover gaps and present a clear improvement roadmap.
  • Lead UK campaign planning — Develop seasonally-relevant campaigns aligned to UK demand peaks: bank holidays, half-terms, staycation windows, and early-booker incentives.
  • Build market presence — Develop case studies, attend industry events, and establish Profitroom as a credible digital voice in the UK hospitality market.

Requirements

  • Paid Media Expertise (Nice-to-have) — Hands-on expertise across Google Hotel Ads, Google Ads (brand & non-brand PPC), Meta Ads, and ideally metasearch platforms.
  • SEO Knowledge (Nice-to-have) — Strong SEO knowledge - on-page, technical, and local search for hotel websites.
