Job Overview

The Product Analytics Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the product analytics and insights generation processes within LYBL. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will work closely to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets, contributing to the development of data-driven solutions and strategic decision-making

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 Months Unpaid internship (Full Time)

  • Possess a strong academic background in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. 
  • Have a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering insights from data. 
  • Excel in SQ, with the ability to write and optimize queries for data extraction and manipulation. 
  • Are adept at cleaning, validating, and manipulating data to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. 
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex ideas effectively. 
  • Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to collaborative projects. 
  • Adapt quickly to new tools and technologies, with a proactive attitude toward learning and growth. 
  • Ideally, have prior internship or coursework experience in data analytics or related fields, although it's not mandatory.

What will you do?

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights. 
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SQL queries and python scripts for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. 
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. 
  • Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions. 
  • Utilize Excel/Google Sheets to perform data analysis, create spreadsheets, and generate reports as needed. 
  • Assist in ad-hoc analytical projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.

What do you need for this role?

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced work environments and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Prior internship or coursework in data analytics or related field (preferred).
