Job description

Job Title: Sales Automation Specialist

Location: South Africa

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

We are seeking a driven, commercially minded, and proactive Business Development Representative to build and grow our sales pipeline from the ground up. This role is focused on researching and identifying potential leads, engaging prospective clients, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings that drive company growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a hunter mentality, and the ability to leverage technology and sales tools to uncover opportunities, build relationships, and generate a consistent pipeline in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage sales automation workflows and outreach processes
  • Responsible for and updating the CRM systems and sales databases
  • Responsible for lead generation, outreach coordination, and follow-up activities
  • Responsible for lead research and campaigns
  • Coordinate communication with prospects, clients, and internal teams
  • Track sales activities, reporting metrics, and operational updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and automation efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflow records
  • Responsible administrative and operational sales tasks as required
  • Assist with additional sales operations and automation projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) highly preferred
  • Previous experience in SaaS Sales, Technology Sales, B2B Sales, Business Development, SDR/BDR experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and automation platforms required
  • Experience using CRM systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Experience with sales automation tools and workflow platforms is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup
