Job Role: Marketing Specialist
Compensation range: $1,500 - $1,800 AUD Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9:00AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

The company is known for delivering high-quality workmanship, tailored customer experiences, and end-to-end project coordination, working closely with homeowners from consultation through to installation. With a strong reputation in the local market, the business continues to expand its operations and is focused on streamlining processes, improving customer experience, and supporting long-term growth.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and tech-savvy Marketing Specialist to support the business across digital marketing, content creation, campaign management, and customer engagement initiatives.
This is a hands-on marketing role best suited for someone who enjoys both creative execution and operational marketing support. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable using AI-powered tools, managing digital campaigns, and supporting ongoing marketing improvements across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate professionally with clients, leads, and stakeholders as needed
Our client's core focus is on school camps, outdoor education programs and experiential learning. The marketing challenge for them is less about high-volume lead generation and more about positioning, storytelling and building trust with schools and decision-makers over a longer sales cycle.
With that in mind, they are looking for a candidate who has experience in areas such as:
• Education or training providers (schools, universities, e-learning, tutoring companies)
• Tourism, travel or hospitality (particularly experience-based offerings rather than transactional sales)
• Events, retreats or program-based businesses
• Youth-focused organisations, community programs
• Membership-based or relationship-driven businesses with longer conversion cycles
More specifically, we are looking for someone who can:
• Develop strong written content and storytelling aligned to our brand
• Create compelling marketing material that speaks to teachers and school decision-makers
• Support outbound engagement (email, LinkedIn, database building) rather than just inbound ads
• Help position us as a premium provider rather than a volume-based option
