Job Description

Title: Technical Architect

Cost : 200k/month

Work Mode: Remote

Role Overview:

As a .NET Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architectural design and development of .NET-based applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring robust application security and addressing vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cloud-native software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, architecture and development of enterprise-level .NET based applications on Azure, ensuring scalability, robustness, performance and security in alignment with business requirements.

  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures on Azure using services such as Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Blob Storage.

  • Own the end-to-end security posture of the platform - covering secure coding standards, threat modelling, vulnerability management, authentication and authorisation using Azure AD / Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 and JWT, secrets management via Azure Key Vault, data protection, and compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

  • Collaborate with development teams to embed secure coding practices and architectural standards into the SDLC and conduct code reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams on architecture, Azure platform capabilities, and best practices.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into secure, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions.

  • Define infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform or Azure Bicep, and design CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices integrated using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

  • Develop and maintain architectural documentation including design patterns, technical specifications, and security guidelines.

Requirements

Technical Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in full stack software development with a strong focus on .NET technologies - C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, EF Core and any frontend technologies like Angular / React / Blazer -progressing into solution architecture.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure compute, messaging, API management, storage, and identity services in production environments — including Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure AD / Entra ID, and Azure Key Vault.

  • Experience in micro services architecture and containerisation technologies including Docker, Rubbernecks, and AKS.

  • Strong understanding of application security principles, authentication and authorisation mechanisms, data protection strategies, and network security on Azure including VNet, private endpoints, and WAF.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Benefits

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Azure Bicep.

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

  • Experience with enterprise-scale identity and access management using Azure AD / Entra ID or Azure AD B2C.
